drug of choice

In the following story (link to audio provided) about record rates of overdosing on prescription pain-killers, note how it is middle-age women who are over-dosing (and dying in numbers greater than ever before), with the explanation that as “…People are very interested in getting back to their lives, and so they are looking for medications [i.e., science] to help them get their lives back…”

You have to serve somebody, God or Manna.  A psychotropic or painkiller drug will “sweep the house clean”, and opens up your mind to other things.  A powerful opiate is just the thing to do this.  What kind of life are you “getting back to” if you open up your mind and soul to things meant to destroy you?  Anything that could chemically alter your mind can also allow other things in that will not be to your defense.

Jesus spoke in Matthew about the final generation, and the hour of His return:

“…But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  But as the days of Noe (Noah) were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be…” – Matthew 24:36-39
If you read my posts on Nimrod, you will learn that the generation alive during Noah’s time were totally corrupt, opening up their minds and spirits willingly to the worst spiritual enemies so completely that God decided to flood the Earth to destroy them.  The corruptness, evil destruction and moral vacuum our generation is in now came about because this generation “emptied and swept clean their house”.  When something is emptied, it will always be filled by something else.  That is the inherent danger to Science as the cure to all things instead of God.

Hear the story here:

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.

Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
