Note:  The following is the first post I did on this blog, in December 2011.  I have added a short video highlighting just ONE difference a fruit/vegetable based diet can make.  We were created by God to originally feed our bodies through plants, not flesh.


Although this changed after the Great Flood, at the beginning (Creation), God did not intend for us to eat flesh of any kind:

Genesis 1:29,30

And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing [yielding] seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat [food].

And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life [a living soul], [I have given] every green herb for meat [food]: and it was so.

But, do we know that eating fruits and vegetables helps us to stay healthy?  And what about the difference between fresh fruits and vegetables versus taking supplements?
